If my travels for business take me there again, I will stay at one of them - not Red Roof Inn. There are plenty of other, more reputable hotels in this area. I gave them a zero on the Red Roof Inn Questionnaire. If I could give this place a zero on this site, I would. Do not even think of staying in this filthy, disgusting place. That's the last money you will get from me. ![]() Yeah- right- all you care about is that you got my money. I got an obviously prefabbed response from Red Roof Inn Corporate and from the Front Desk. The front desk had no idea of how to get the microwave to work and refused to do anything about it. I couldn't cook the food I had saved for breakfast. My sodas were frozen solid in the morning. The refrigerator had one setting- freezing. The microwave and the refrigerator did not work. I didn't need to get a harassing call to see if I was still coming so they could give my ”last room” to someone else. I had a reservation made several weeks earlier and was entitled to come at around 10 pm when I arrived. Ian is happily and healthfully growing and Lauren and I feel so blessed to have him in our life (even though we’re always a bit tired!).There was pubic hair in the sheets of my bed and on my bathroom towels. With a little hard work and a lot of support from friends and family, 2013 was full of success and happiness. I’m learning to balance being a full time father while advancing in my career as an artist. This year I have learned to prioritize the important things and make the most of my time at the easel. We have a saying in Nicaragua: “ En el camino se arreglan las cargas” loosely translated it means, “We’ll deal with any issues that come our way as they happen.” That’s the way it’s been around here. Those three months passed very quickly and soon she had to (reluctantly!) return to the office. Luckily, Lauren was able to spend about three months home on maternity leave, taking care of Ian while I painted. It wasn’t until he was a few weeks old that I was able to return to painting a few hours each day. The plan was that I would take care of the baby during the day and I thought I would have little time to dedicate to painting.Īs we anticipated, Ian completely changed our lives! He has brought so much happiness and joy, but also a lot of work. ![]() Last year we started out a bit nervous and excited Lauren and I were about to have a baby and we knew that everything would change upon his arrival. ![]()
